\u00a0I was finishing high school and was still on dial up running Aces High BBS.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tonya Harding hires someone to hit Nancy Kerrigan in the knee (the original in the knee\u00a0joke)<\/li>\n<li>Bill Clinton delivered his first State of the Union address<\/li>\n<li>Green day released Dookie (owch!!)<\/li>\n<li>Winter Olympics in Lillehammer<\/li>\n<li>China gets connected to the Internet (probably to farm gold in RoD!!! \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>Kurt Cobain is found dead in his home<\/li>\n<li>Richard Nixon also died,\u00a0some people wave using all five fingers<\/li>\n<li>Rodney King is awarded almost $4m to settle his civil rights suit<\/li>\n<li>The Chunnel between England and France opens<\/li>\n<li>Nelson Mandela becomes South Africa&#8217;s president<\/li>\n<li>Nicole Simpson and Ronald Goldman are murdered and the O.J. trials<\/li>\n<li>The Rangers win the Stanley Cup and riots break out in Vancouver<\/li>\n<li>The Lion King is released<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft discontinues sales of MS-DOS<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Realms of Despair opens to the<\/strong><\/em><strong> public!!!!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Brazil wins the World Cup<\/li>\n<li>Fragments of Comet Shoemaker-Levy hit Jupiter in a spectacular display<\/li>\n<li>Israel-Jordan Treaty of Peace signed<\/li>\n<li>Major League Baseball goes on strike<\/li>\n<li>Jeffrey Dahmer is beaten to death in prison<\/li>\n<li>Boris Yeltin orders the invasion of Chechnya<\/li>\n<li>Netscape Navigator 1.0 is released<\/li>\n<li>AOL begins offering gateway service to the World Wide Web<\/li>\n<li>Justin Beiber was born &#8230;<\/li>\n<li>&#8230; John Candy died and Canadian celebrity has been whacky ever since!
